All you need to know about iOS 15 – New Features and Functions

Apple announced everything for this year in their California streaming event on the 14th of September at 10 a.m PDT. Apple also announced the full version of the iOS 15 that is to be released before the iPhone 13 is ready to be sold on the 20th of September, coming Monday.

The Beta version of the iOS 15 was introduced in June 2021 for the users to explore and enjoy the software update before it was available in a complete form.

The iOS 15 release is going to introduce new features concerning FaceTime calls, tools to reduce distractions, a new notification experience, added privacy features, a complete redesign for safari, weather, maps, and so much more.

We don’t know exactly how it’s going to be but, the notifications have been modified and redesigned in the new software update. But all we know for now is that there are going to be contact photos for your contacts, and the apps are going to have more visible and more prominent icons. Moreover, to save you from distractions, the notification will gather and all pop up together at an appropriate time. Also, the new software update allows your phone to sort your notifications by priority.

Moving ahead, there is another added feature called the focus. Focus can filter out notifications and apps according to your preference at the time. Also, when the user’s focus feature blocks call and text notifications from another user, the latter will be informed in the messages. Moreover the, iOS 15 release will suggest Focus options for different times such as work hours, gym time, bedtime, etc,  but you can also create your own custom Focus. A Focus setup will also apply to your other connected devices.
